In Dakar, Vox Afrique’s Abdourahmane Dia spoke to some Fans.
Vox 1, Abdou Dieng, (Male, French) : “It’s hard, not only for me but for All the people of Senegal. Even for Africa, because all of Africa wanted to see Sadio prove himself during this 2022 World Cup. Because it is an international players are there and Sadio should be there to pull out his big game and to prove that the Senegalese team deserves its place and to confirm our victory at The African Cup. But God willing, Aliou Cisse and the rest of the management will be able remobilize the troops.”
Vox 2, Ndebane Faye, (Female, Wolof) : “Let’s pray for him so he can be healthy. He is my favorite player. The world cup is coming and as to other players, they have to do their best. They have to bring the Cup here so we can rejoice her in Senegal. Sadio is not the only player, hopefully with his injury, the others will excel. There are other Sadio Manes in the team.”
Vox 3, Aly Mbaye, (Male, French) : “We are all Lions. The absence of Sadio Mane may be a motivator to the whole team so we can fly high and raise our flag very high at the World Cup.”
Vox 4, Assane Traore, (Male, French) : “It’s really hurts us all, all Senegalese. But thank God, we’ll do with the situation. Sadio is an important part of the team and to (coach) Aliou Cisse. But god is great because we have players like Nicolas Jackson and the young Elimane Ndiaye. I think, we are good Forwards.
