"The Frankfurt General Prosecutor's Office together with German criminal police managed to find and close down one of the world's largest darknet platforms named 'Boystown' and to arrest several people responsible for operating the platform. Boystown is one of the world's largest darknet platforms with at the last count more than 400,000 members. The platform specialised in the exchange of pictures and videos showing the sexual abuse of boys."

"The investigation of German authorities is directed against four men. Three people were arrested in Germany and one person was arrested in Paraguay at the request of German criminal authorities. Three of the people are suspected of being having been administrators of the 'Boystown' platform and to have installed the platform's infrastructure and to have looked after members. The fourth person, one of the most active users of 'Boystown,' is suspected of having posted more than 3,500 contributions, thereby having massively contributed to the existence of the platform."
