Article Body Text<p>Authorities say at least 157 people are dead after landslides in southern Ethiopia.</p> <p>The disasters occurred in a district of the Gofa Zone administrative area. Many of the victims were buried in a landslide on Monday as people were digging through the rubble searching for survivors of another mudslide the day before. </p> <p>Officials said Monday that at least 55 people had been killed in that landslide. </p> <p><em>Some information for this report came from The Associated Press, Reuters and Agence France-Presse. </em></p>
