The U.N. Security Council met Friday to vote on an Arab-sponsored resolution that called for an immediate humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza. Thirteen countries voted in favor of the resolution, but it failed when the United States vetoed it. VOA’s Senior Diplomatic Correspondent Cindy Saine reports.
