Helmand, Afghanistan, where much of the world's opium (narcotic) is produced, is undergoing major changes as the Taliban cracks down on the drug industry. This documentary takes you into the region’s opium marketplace and the poppy fields of farmers who have been growing the now-forbidden flowers for generations. Without alternatives, those facing their last harvest struggle to adapt. Even after fields are razed by the Taliban, opium production remains integrated in Helmand's livelihood—and change for its people proves difficult.
