The annual Jollof Festival, organized by Ismael Osekre was held in Washington on Sunday. Locals signed up to showcase their jollof recipes and compete for the title of “best jollof.”
In past years, chefs with jollof from West African countries by the likes of Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Ghana have competed in the festival.
