Johannesburg Residents Enjoy Rare Snowfall in More Than Decade
July 10, 2023
Residents in Johannesburg welcomed their first snowfall in more than a decade on Monday.
While some parts of the country regularly experience snowy winters, the country's biggest city last saw snow in August 2012.
Despite the fun, the South African Weather Service has issued warnings because of the cold front that has struck Gauteng province where Johannesburg and the capital Pretoria are located.
