Former US President Donald Trump has been indictment for the third time, this time, for his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The Associated Press says the charges focus on schemes by Trump and his allies to subvert the peaceful transfer of power and keep him in office despite his loss to Joe Biden. Pearl Matibe, a Zimbabwe-born journalist and foreign policy analyst, tells Daybreak Africa host James Butty, she’s not surprised by the indictment.
