Uganda’s opposition leaders and rights defenders raise concerns over the government’s decision to close the U.N. Human Rights Office in the country; The U.S. pledges more than $85 million in life-saving humanitarian assistance to Turkey and Syria after the massive earthquake in the region that has killed thousands of people; And, U.S. fighter jets shoot down two more objects flying over the United States and Canadian territories over the weekend.
