((TEXT))
"This vessel is loading grain aimed for Afghanistan. Since August 1, every week ships are coming to this port in Odesa to take Ukrainian grain to the countries in needs via “grain corridor”. Ukraine has exported over 4 million tons of grain since signing an agreement to allow grain exports to restart after Russian invasion on February 24
Ukrainian minister of infrastructure told VOA that Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya are among the countries that are getting Ukrainian food today.
Before the war Ukraine was a major exporter of grain and other agricultural products to the world. UN projections show that because of the war up to 181 million people in 41 countries could face a food crisis or even outright famine. Ukrainian officials are asking the international community to help to stop the war… for Ukraine to restart normal life and help to battle hunger in developing countries."
