Drone footage shows the destruction to residential infrastructure left in Irpin, Ukraine, after Russian troops advanced on the city. All over this country, on the Sunday following Orthodox Easter, Ukrainians visit cemeteries to remember their dead. A grim undertaking this year, as thousands of mostly-civilians have so far died in this war.

“It was a special delight to see Madam Speaker with the delegation in Kyiv, meeting with our president. I think it’s yet another sign of very, very strong support that Ukraine has here in the United States. We feel and we know that Americans are our brothers and sisters in this fight for freedom ((and)) for democracy.”

Much of that money has gone to arm Ukrainians. In this unverified video, the Ukrainian National Guard claims to show an attack on Russian military equipment. But they say they need more firepower, and critics say that needs to happen now.
[RADIO TRACK: Sunday, on ABC’s “This Week,” Representative Michael McCaul, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said time is of the essence.]

“Every day we don’t send them more weapons is a day where more people will be killed, and a day where they could lose this war. I think they can win it, but we have to give them the tools to do it.”
