Raihanath Kappan, the wife of the jailed journalist Siddique Kappan, struggles to make ends meet with her three children in a small city in India. Her husband was arrested on his way to report on a story about the rape and murder of a 19-year-old Dalit (lower caste) woman in India. With no finances or means of income, Raihanath is fighting a lone battle to secure her journalist husband a fair hearing.
