Africa News Tonight: Sudan’s latest ceasefire attempt appeared to be crumbling today with clashes between rival military factions breaking out in several parts of the capital Khartoum. The families of prominent detained Tunisian opposition figures – including opposition leader Rached Ghannouchi – are calling on the international community to pressure President Kais Saied’s government to release political detainees and end the crackdown on freedom of expression.
